Playing ipod using usb on dvd

Hello,
Can I play ipod(nano) on home theatre dvd receiver using usp port that says it will play mp3 that have FAT 16/32 format? thanks for your help.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

No i am sorry it wont be possible... ipods cannot be played
