Error signature

Hello,

I'm running ms xp and for the last three days I have been getting an error signature and the error report says:

AppName: explorer.exe
appVer: 6.0.2900.3156
ModName: msi.dll
ModVer: 3.1.4000.4039
Offset: 00033a53

Please don't tell me to download anything because I can't do anything except start up insafe mode and then I still get this problem. Mac

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,
try to do a system restore.
if this does not fix your problem, then you may repair your windows by inserting the windows installation CD.
