PEN DRIVE not format

Hello,
recently ive buyed a 4gb LOCAL pendrive,it was woking fine but later on i could not format it,it is ex-fat...
when i insert my pendrive on the computer then it says tht u need to format your pendrive before u use.but when i format it ,it shows tht windows was unable to format..now its gone useless.so any1 out there please help me as soon as possible...

Hello,

Try this 1

Right-click on your pen-drive --> Select the option "Explore" --> if is gets

opened, backup your data and format it.

If the problem still exists then

Click on Start --> In the search box, type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.

Disk Management will be opened.

Then right-click on your pendrive ---> Select "Change Drive Letter and

Path.." --> Click on "Change" and assign different drive letter.

Change the volume name by right-clicking on your pendrive and select properties.

Enter your volume name.
