I have an HP pavilian dv6000 laptop (Windows XP) connected to my TV using a VGA cable so that I can stream movies; however I would like to use the sound from my TV and not Laptop. I see where to plug in the cord on the TV (mini jack) but I do not see where on the laptop to plug in the other end. Can you help?

Hello,

Try this 1

You need a RCA Audio cable if you are connecting your Laptop to TV using the

VGA. For more information, click on the below hyperlink "Audio".

Audio

Refer to "Connect the Audio RCA Cable for Sound".

If your laptop contains HDMI port then you can use it to connect it to your TV. This

will carry both the audio and video signals.

Good Luck
