Hello,


I hope someone out there can help me, i have Samsung s series 23 inch led monitor screen, i bought it recently but it has a red verticle line in the middle of the screen.if you know how to fix it please let me know.thanks in advanced.

I suggest you test the monitor with another computer. If the red line still exists on the second computer. Then the monitor is at fault. If it's OK then it's a problem with the first computers video card.

If you confirm it's a monitor problem then the is not much that can be done to correct it. You could experiment with the monitor settings and reduce the screen size and or color depth.

Thanks xpcman, its definitely a problem with the monitor, i have tried other led monitors and they work fine with same pc. i'll have a go at changing settings but i don't thing that is going to do the trick.
