Flash Drive Contents Automatically Opened

Hello,
When I insert my flash drive in the usb port, the contents are automatically viewed. What I want is that there must be a prompt in what will I do first before opening my flash drive contents.Does it mean that my computer have a virus?

I shouldn't think so - this happens under Windows too. You can probably prevent this by changing your computer's settings, but I don't know anything about your operating system.
