Annoyed with itunes

Hello,

im having trouble with my itunes. so my father downloaded a bunch of songs on my inano, and im trying to get rid of them so i have more room. however, the songs are all greyed out and i cant select them. help please.
the songs were downloaded on my desktop computer and im trying to do change it on the same computer but after i redownloaded the system files. ive been wrestling with this for a while and im getting really annoyed
