the sims 3 game wont load from the launcherClosed

Hello, people  
i got the sims 3 town life stuff games on friday but i couldnt install it because i needed the the regular sims 3 so i got my cousins sims 3 game so i can install my game, i played it on saturday but the next day i couldnt play i clicked on the launcher then clicked the play button then my mouse turns to the circle  but it never loads
