.exes' have been changed to 'Carpeta de Arc

Hello,
I don't know when this began, or what caused it, but all my .exe extensions have been renamed 'Carpeta de Archivos'. I've done google searches on this, but no luck. Is this a sign of a virus? No virus checker has picked it up (spybot, Superantivirus, Avira).

Carpeta de Archivos is the Spanish equivalent of "file folder" - is your copy of windows displaying Spanish on other windows?

No. But all the .exe files are displaying "exe" in Spanish. Why would an exe be called a "file folder" in Spanish? No other files seem to be renamed in Spanish.
