Hello,
XP pro sp2, browser: latest firefox
Just ran a fast scan of SUPER Antivirus. Rebooted when scan done, and all my icons on taskbar were changed to some other non-related icon. This has happened recently, once before. I've run SpyBot, but no change.
Can someone help with this?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

This is something I recommended 4 someone else.........Try this: Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware using a friend's PC. Once downloaded, change the Setup file name 2 anything u choose. B sure it's something simple u can remember. Now, transfer the file via flash drive or other movable media 2 your PC. B sure 2 disconnect from internet and disable any Anti-Virus u have installed on your PC. Install on your PC, then run setup. If u can't update, don't worry. Just run a quick scan. Remove anything it finds....Reboot your PC. Now try running the update manager. When it updates, run a full system scan. Again, remove anything it finds. 4 future protection, download and install AVG Free Anti-Virus. It's free and it works a lot better than most Anti-Viruses. U can download the 2 at: www.download.com..........Good Luck!!!!!!!!!
