Hello,
We had 2 users on our PC running Windows XP. One user was password protected. Our 2 separate My Documents folders (one for each user) were on drive D. We decided to format drive C and re-install Windows. This Ofcourse also deleted the user accounts. Now we cannot access the files on drive D that were in My Documents of the password protected user. We tried recreating the same user with the same password but it didn't help.
Any ideas how to access these files?
Thanks
Omer

hi,
what does it tells you when you try to access the folder?
put the drive as slave and then try to access it from there.

It says:
....\...\My Documents is not accessible. Access is denied.

This is the same message anyone will receive when trying to access My Documents files of another user who is password protected.

Hi omer.. I have the same problem and I am trying to find a solution now. I am testing some recovering softwares such as PC Inspector File Recovery. So far, I couldnt find any of the files in the folder. Could you find a proper solution??
Thank you.
