Hello, Trying to reformat my series L505 satelite laptop. When I get to the screen that I can do that on and pressload setup files, it does nothing. When restarting it, the screen says no bootable devices found, and says to insert boot disk and press any key. HELP!!!

The "no bootable devices found" message means you hard drive does not work or is disconnected. Since it can't find you hard drive you can't doe a restore. You will probably need to buy a new hard drive and re-install Windows. I hope you made the required backup CD's when the system was new.

Good Luck

Thanks for the answer. It was very frustrating, being able to access the setup utilities screen, but then it still wouldnt reset.
