Hi Everyone!

Ive just attempted to reboot my toshiba satelite laptop, so i put in the product recovery cd, followed the prompts, it restored everything, then asked to remove all disk drives, then click reboot. so i ejected the disk, and clicked reboot. but now the screen is all black with a flashing curser at the top. and i cant get anything to work. i tried turning it off and restarting it, but the same thing happens. if anyone knows how to fix this, or whats happening id love to hear from you! thanks

Hi Amanda,

at startup can you press F2, DEL, or another key to get into the BIOS.

check boot order to ensure first boot device is set to Hard Disk.
