No display on start

Hello,

i was working with my computer with a cardreader in one of the USB ports. When i removed the cardreader the computer hanged and i have to press the power button to turn it off. When i restarted the computer there was no display the harddisk light stays on for a while and then goes off. I removed the memory and tried to restart, nothing happened. i removed the display card, nothing happened, i removed the data cables of hard disc and dvd drive, nothi9ng happened. What should i do next. should i clear the CMOS and try again.

Please suggest

hi,
try to clear the CMOS and then try again.
or you may try to boot in safe mode and then do a disk check .
note that you shoul always click on "safely remove hardware" before removing any connected device.
or you may also shut down the computer to remove it.
