| 1 me, on Jan 7, 2009 1:12:25 am GMTI had the same the issue due to my ipod. the problem that i think is with you is that you may have done something. To get your ipod on again hook it to the computer (USB cord) and re format it. that means you would have to clean your drive completely.. dont worry!!! then you need to put songs all over again... Reply to me | 2 1banana, on Feb 8, 2009 9:05:50 pm GMTOkay so i get wta ur saying except wat if the name of your -pod and ur i-pod suff doesnt show up on i-tuness? then wat do i do? Reply to 1banana | 10 EDFD, on May 9, 2009 12:38:23 am BSTYeaaa, see you just hold the menu button and the center button at the same time for at least thirty-seconds, if a screen with an apple on it doesn't pop-up, then I can't help you sorry. I would Suggest you bring it in, but the solution I'm giving you seems to always work. This happened to me twice. Reply to EDFD | 13 Sara, on May 18, 2009 9:38:43 pm BSTBravo! It turned on! Thanks for your helpful tip! | 84 Charlotte, on Oct 10, 2009 3:43:11 am BSTI thought my iPod was toast because I couldn't get it to unlock and my computer was saying it was corrupted - but I tried this and it worked!! Thank you so much!! Without this advice I probably would have ended up replacing it (and mine's not under warranty anymore) so you just saved a poor student enough to buy another textbook this year haha. Anyways. You're amazing! Thanks for the help! Reply to Charlotte |

Reply to james | 29 halfun1995, on Jun 27, 2009 9:04:00 am BSTHi if your ipod is an ipod touch the same thing happend to my friend but that was because he got water into the system and the battery would not hold the charge
if you did nothing against the warranty go to apple support on the website
and arrange a appointment at local apple store
did you drop ypur ipod or do any thing ab normal?
my email is halfun@mail.com if you want to ask anything else Reply to halfun1995 | 59 applefreak29, on Aug 7, 2009 3:06:40 pm BSTHi, I actually did drop my iPod touch in water and i got everything to work except the battery refuses to hold a charge. The only thing powerful enough to give it enough power to turn on is my iHome - the problem is that i jailbroke my iPod. I plan to take it into the apple store and see what they can do, but i want to restore my iPod so that I can un-jailbreak it. Since my computer wont give it enough juice to power up, I don't know how I'm going to restore it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
