First u change the boot order in the bios.
then insert the xp bootable disk.
then follow the instructions.
if it is not rectified insert 98 bootable and format it using command prompt mode.
then install xp first and then linux

Hi,
Thanks for suggestion,
hey is there any other way to rectify this problem without using Windows 98 bootable disk.
I have changed boot order as well, also inserted xp bootable cd..bt same problem.

Then i deleted the linux from linux terminal, and run bootable disk of XP, now getting a different problem.
1) partitions are created
2) formatted as well
3) installation procedure has copied all files
4) now when it reboots itself for installation then a blue screen comes and display a message like..

"FOR SAFETY PURPOSE WINDOWS INSTALLATION IS TERMINATED..CHECK FOR SOME VIRURES OR THREATS..."
and some error code also.
