My computer fan sound is loud

Hello,
can anyone suggest me 2 fix my computer fan's sound?it is quite loud and not seem to be a hardware problem. I noticed that my system IDE process had eaten up my cpu usage of 99% that shown in task manager,it may be the main cause of my computer fan becoming loud. Does it is the sign of attacked by virus?please help me

It might be a extra load from the pc from virus / trojan running in the background but only way to be sure is to buy a new fan costing you about 10 us dollars. Anyhow another thing you could do is download the free spyware tool Lavasoft Ad-aware 2oo8 and run an online scan from trend micro just google them both. Good luck.
