I need nana 8g installation software

Hello,
i bought a nano 8g ipod however after using it for sometime it just won't work because when i connect it to my computer it request for an installation software before i can use it. please help me out by sending me an installation software!!!!!!!!

Itunes can download any software the iPod nano needs.
