It's data encryption is WEP and its network authentication type is open . My problem is that i am not able to connect to this network but i am able to connect to some other unsecure networks . I also tried to use ad hoc networks . I am able to connect to ad hoc networks but i am not able to log on to internet . Can anyone plzzz help me???

Your problem is most likely in the key you are using. If you have the capability, use the phrase to input your key, because a phrase is easier. Also, try to copy your key to a word processor, verify it's correct, then copy and past it into the WEP window, so you make damn sure it is right both times.

The mode should be common key, not open.

Hello,
I tried what you suggested, but still I am not able to connect . I think my problem is not with the key . I also made damn sure that the keys are correct both the times . Now what should I do next ??
