Hello,
While performing maintenance on my computer, I found the e-mail folder and file storage in a numbered folder. I changed the name of the folder to make it more readily identifiable to me. However, Outlook Express no longer recognizes it and won't pull info from the folder - which means I can't access it at all. I don't remember the title of the old folder to change it back.

I would welcome any help anyone may have for my problem.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Outlook Express uses that number to identify accounts. Unless you remember that number, there is nothing you can do.

Can't you open OE and goto TOOLS>OPTIONS>MAINTENANCE>STORE FOLDER and find the identity there?
You shouldn't change this but it will give you the information needed to rename the directory back to what it was.
