Pls help. Win.Media Player 11 has no sound

Hello,


Pls help. My Windows Media Player 11 has no sound coming out when I tried playing some downloaded songs...but those which was already in my PC, ie, sample songs, I have no problem wth ,em. Loud & clear.
The two sets of tracks are respectively as below all saved in Dick:C.

1) MPEG-4 Audio File Format. (downloaded from Bit Torrent/ Utorrent)

2) MPEG layer 3 - Audio File.

MY OS:

Micrsoft Windows XP (Professional )
Version 2002
Service Pack -2

Intel Pentium 4
2.40Ghz, 240MB f RAM

Pls help me solve this as soon as possible...coz I need to burn the tracks soon.

Try downloading and installaing drivers of your sound card. This issue is usually caused due to faulty/incompatible sound drivers.

Go to control panel... select sound ... then select the sounds tab..... then select Window Default... And apply... done

Download K-Lite codec pack. This solves 99% of all audio & video problems. Good luck.

If ever someone crops up with the same problem, just go to supportrix.com for fast and efficient solutions. My friends and I did and we are satisfied with it.

Try installing DIVX codec from Divx.com web site. This usually resolves the issue.
