Hello, i was given a d220mt that was no longer used at a business, it is running windows 2000, i want to replace the harddrive and run xp. how do i find the drivers that i might need when i format a new harddrive and install windows xp. also would it be posible to take the hd out of my old pc that was using an amd processor and just plug it in as the master, i personally don't think that that is an option but i had to ask, this d220mt desktop is running a P4 i believe, but i don't know anything about the mb or drivers for the mb.

I wouldn't try the hard drive swap.

correct.

another thought - XP may say it wants to reboot after every driver is loaded. No need to reboot each and every time. Reboot after the last driver is loaded or it XP demands a reboot.
