Hello,
I use the new microsoft office 2007 and unfortunately my old Word or Excel files cant be opened..
Tell me the reason plz ..thanx

The only difference between the office 2003 and 2007 is the the layout, and the organized tools that a user can use...office 2007 is a user's friendly office productivity tool... and its performances much larger than 2003.. So it makes the difference in the saving formats too.. But i think u can open 2003 in 2007 but NOT 2007 in 2003

Yeah the fact is that Office 2003 and 2007 dont share the same saving formats.. unfortunately! but u can open a 2003 file on 2007 but not invert

Hello,
Both are possible. If you want to open Word's file or Excel's files 2003 with Word or Excel 2007, it's necessary to create a file association. And to the contrary, simply download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007 at Microsoft website.
