xp installin interrupted, not startin freshClosed

Question

Hello,
I was installing window xp sp2, some file was missing & installation stopped.
I was trying to install a fresh copy of xp but the installation is starting from same point and asking for same file.
i think it is not booting from cd.
i have give in boot sequence to boot from cd.
please help

if you have changed the boot sequence priority to your cd rom then it should boot normally from the cd rom provided that you have a good copy of windows and also are you sure that this cd windows installation that you have is in good working condition?

have you previously used it and how many times for the license code?

it is not original window.
I was using tht cd for the 1st time.
But nw i m tryin to use a different cd tht i have already used butstill theinstallation is starting from where it had stopped with previous cd...
nothin is happenin n i have to quit bcoz it is givin same error..of file missin
