Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me!
I have a WRT54GS Ver 6. router. It has been working fine until yesterday, when it completely stopped working. My DSL connection works fine when plugged directly to my MAC, but the router is not receiving any signal from the model. I called linksys and they told me I needed to pay $30 for support! which I refused obviously.

I accessed the web-based setup page, typed 192.168.1.1 and it worked. But once I try to save any settings changes in there to, it doesn't work! I can't rename my router connection, nor secure my wireless connection.

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks a lot!

Safari can't be used to save the settings. Use Firefox or Internet Explorer.

I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WHENEVER I TRY TO SAVE THE SETTINGS I GET AN ERROR

"Safari can’t open the page “http://192.168.1.1/Basic.tri” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again."

Yes - even though linksys support says they support Safari, you will have much better success in Firefox!
