USB external HDD in windows 2003 server

Hello,
hi i bought one segate 500gb usb external hdd. when i was connect that in my windows 2003 server it appears only in taskbar as removal disk but not in my computer like other partisions.. how can i access data which is stored* in my external hdd?? note that it is fully worked condition in other os's like windows xp, windows2000 etc...need help...

right click on my computer>

properties>hardware tab

then device manager
