Doesnt Start Without The Charger!!!

Hello,

I have a hp pavilion dv3500 lap top. Had it for two months now. now i have a problem with the power button or the battery. because the laptop wont turn on if it the charger isnt plugged. So basically doesnt work without the charger. Does someone have the same problem? Can someone help me?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.4

Dear Sir,

This should actually be a hardware problem. The battery's life must have finished up. In

order to have the problem fixed, I will advise you to change the battery with a new one.

This is how you will be able to use the battery without having to plug the charger everytime.

Okai, thanks but I kind of found that myself, i was hoping for another explanation, one that doesnt include buying a new battery.
