What is the normal cost of a linux???

i want to buy one an im wondering about the costs,,,im searching for a performant one

Hi!

Actually, most of the Linux distros are free. Some of them can be bought but they aren't really better, but sometimes can provide a hotline or something. Anyway I bet the most popular distributions are free, and updated by the community.

So buying a Linus OS would be a mistake, in my opinion. You can even be sent a CD of Ubuntu for free (see |http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/purchase Ubuntu > Request free CDs] even though it's easier to download it.

So for instance, you could chose Ubuntu, which costs : 0 and IS performant. Linux isn't worse than Windows, tou gotta understand it. It's just different. The only real problem is that you can't really play many video games on Linux, and that you also got to get used to it.

But once you're done, you can get rid of Windows for ever. "Vous�avez�beaucoup�d'avenir�derri�re�vous..."
