Hello,

they way to fix your ipod when it turns of and then u cant charge it using a usb port or a wall charger is to plug it into your computer and hold down the menu and lock button down. when u have done that it will appear in devices in itunes. when this does u must click on the restore button just under your ipod information (which wont have any info about your ipod). after u have done this all u need to do is load all your music and downloads again. feel free to contact me at pigloverwill@hotmail.co.uk :)
