I was working on my Dell inspirion laptop when suddenly th eimage on the scree fractured (it really looked like it just cracked apart) and the screen went black. When I rebooted it, it got stuck in a loop that would not go to the home scree and the background looked like a shot from the Matrix. I tried to start in safe mode with no success. I finally shut it down completely and I too had the three orange and one white blinking lights, It has bee plugged in for 24 hours an continues to blink. I have had the video card and the battery replaced within the past 6 months and both times they were from Dell under the warranty.

I hope someone from Dell is reading these because this laptop is from my work and I specifically requested this laptop and configuration because of the software I run. I would strongly discourage anyone who needs a reliable laptop from getting this.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.8

Hello there,

Thanks for posting this message here,

But you should be more cautious with your laptop,

Not let it get any shocks when carrying it and even never try to open it

Thanks
