Toshiba Satellite L300

Hello,

My new Toshiba satellite L300, doesn't start. I try to demare it, it freeze windows and after I have black screen. It works because I hear the fun. What can I do?

Hello maria,

You will have to restore your computer,

If you are using vista:

Press F8 when the laptop starts up and select safe mode:

Open System Restore by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then clicking System Restore.‌ If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Select a date when your laptop worked well, then press Next

I press F8 but I have nothing, the screen is steel black

This happened to me before recovering the system isn't going to help, your going to have to bring it back because this is a hardware problem not a software one. The LCD backlight's connector is very loose and comes out very easily. System Restores won't help. The only fix for it is to bring it back to the store you bought it from or call Toshiba and send the laptop to them
