Boot task error

When I turn my computer on, all I get is a back screen and the words "boot task error". I can't get past it. What can I do?

hi,

check if the hard disk is properly connected to the motherboard.

try to boot in safe mode to see if the problem remains.

or try to repair your windows using the installation CD.
