Can't turn on my laptop

Hello,

I have this problem where when i finished playing, i minimized the game and pressed the button sleep then leave my laptop, when i came back i pressed the turn on button and the only thing that shows was the wallpaper, no apps, no icons, nothing just the wallpaper. Please help what should i do. The mouse was moving but when i right click or click it nothing really happens
