Printer is not "picking up" scanner

Hello,

My H P Deskjet 2050 J510 printer works perfectly, but I am not able to scan any documents any longer. When I press the scanner icon I get the following flag: The H P Deskjet 2050 J510 series was not found.

Any advice please?

Try reinstalling the driver.

It may be due to driver settings error. Uninstall your printer driver and dowload latest driver from hp. Install and try scanning .
