Hello,
If the motor in my Gateway Laptop over heated is there anyway possible to fix it?

There is a high chance that the motor was affected by the overheating. one of the capacitors could have burned out etc.. usually you just replace the power supply if you know for sure that it doesn't work.

What is the power supply? Is that the battery?
I took my laptop to Best Buy and they said the motor over heated and said they would send it way to be worked on but theres no guarentee it would even be fixed. When I plug my laptop in the green light doesnt come on saying it's charging. Is that a bad sign?
