Hello,
I installed an Airlink 101 router and adapter. and lost my hard wired INTERNET (local network) and have not been able to setup the wireless. Service Pack 3 is installed.

Set up in Ubuntu was a piece of cake both Local and wireless auto installed in seconds.

Nothing seems to work, ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew don't won't work and entering 192.168.1.1 in a browser doesn't work. Is the only solution getting rid of SP3.

Did you configure your line with the username and password on the router configuration?

No. XP will not let any info about the router be entered in any of the usual places, run, browsers etc.
