Downngrading from vista to xp

Hello,
how do i format my hp dv6000 from windows vista to xp, i tried formating it , but i could not , it was telling me no hard disk found.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

i think we have the same problem

the problem is the drivers of vista are not compatible to that of xp... thats y you cant locate the hard disk... u should download the compatible drivers for xp...

will u tell me if u are able to find any coz im having the same problem

Hier is er nog een met hetzelfde probleem Na installatie van XP en gelijktijdige formating van de C schijf waardoor Vista werd gewist geen geluid en internet connection meer. Iemand een idee wat het ei van colombus is om deze problemen op te lossen. Ben nu opzoek naar alle drivers die bij Dell Vostro 100 horen om die te installeren, maar de eerste pogiongen waren nit erg hoopvol.
Indien iemand advies heeft, dan graag

If it is a fairly new PC, then it probably has a SATA hard disk. In order to install XP, you need the correct SATA drivers ON FLOPPY. When booting to the Windows CD, you press F6 to install additional drivers. It will look on the FLOPPY and the floppy ONLY!
