Good evening
I have win Xperia 64 bit computer that will not connect to the Internet. I have a Belkin usb wireless dongle but nothing is working. I have downloaded drivers for the Belkin device but still nothing is working. Has anyone out there any ideas?

hi,

can other devices see the wireless?

if you go to Start > Device Manager

under network adapters, does it show your wireless card installed correctly with no exclamation marks?

It shows the wireless adapter with a yellow question mark. I now have my laptop hooked up by cable and have access to the Internet where I have accessed the Belkin website to see if I can download the correct drivers for this device. I have done this before and copied them to flash drive to transfer them to my desktop computer (the WIN xp 64 bit) but I still can't connect. I am wondering if I have the right usb adapter. My laptop is Windows 10. Do I need to download drivers that match the OS?

Thank you for your response. The dongle is aBelkin model F9L1002v1. I have downloaded the drivers for this model and transferred them to my XP computer but I get an error message when I try to load them. I suspect that they are incompatible with the XP OS.

Cheers

Was it this one you downloaded: http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/F9L1002v1_N300_US.exe

Though, it says its compatible with Windows XP, there is no mention of 64 bit XP.
