Friend request responses & chatheads

Hello,
Android OS
Is is possible that a Facebook chat head notification was sent when someone who has their Facebook Profile set to only allow Friends of Friends accepts my friend request? Or are those notifications only sent in the Red Alert Notification bar?

Additionally, are users (aka Shannon) provided a "share link" to send to people they want to be able to friend request them (aka tom) , if Shannon has her profile setup to only allow friends of friends to friend request them, and Tom does not meet that criteria?
