Hardware malfunction

Hello,
my system reporting various is error on installation,like say a file is corrupted,i've changed the RAM,likewise the XP service packalso.what can be the possible cause and remedy,to fix it up.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hi,
try to update the drivers.
or if you have recently connected any hardware to the computer, this might be the case.
