Hard disk problem???

Hello,i have 80 gb sata hdd.this hdd only can make 1 partition.when make 2 or more partition the other partition cannot be formatted and be a unallocated disk forever..why this is happen???how to solve this problem??

Hi,
Boot your system from bootable win 98 and try to make more than one partition using fdisk.and also formate the made partition in cli command,it will work, if not then it cause bad sector.

another way???can i use partition magic or partitin manager??

ya, you can use Partition magic or Partition manager to make partition, but try to make it with free mistake and formate the different partition and enjoy the system.
