Metal Gear Solid 1 Cutscene Problem

Hello,
I have a problem with metal gear solid i downloaded recently on pc

at the part where your face psyco mantis with him mind controlling
meryl, after getting mantis to a low hp point he picks up meryl and
after having to knocker her out the second time the game goes to a
cut scene with her pointing the gun to her head then all cameras on
snake then the game freezes.

Iv tried reinstalling but didnt work out so i didnt know what else to do.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

there might have been some files missing when downloading the file.
