Hello, my graphics card recently started making a whirring sound. Not quite sure what this meant so I took it out and checked it out. Apparently i did something to make it not work. Whenever i turn on my computer, i get a weird display of random pixels things and then it no picture at all. The card is fully installed and has been working perfectly before hand. And by the way i did replace the thermal paste between the fan and chip.

can anyone help me or am i going to have to buy a new chip?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.8
