First download and run the UAA Microsoft package driver ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33867.exe
Then ur Conexant Audio device driver ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36090.exe

When i am trying to install the sound drivers it is showing me an error "media not found." what should i do now to install the drivers?

am not able to hear sounds on my laptop speakers but able to hear on head phones

I couldn't hear any sound on HP Comapq C799ER Laptop.

After I've installed this Windows fix: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/df-support/11036/eng/kb88811­1.exe I was able to install the sound driver from this package: http://narod.ru/disk/2422586000/HP C799ER (copy 5).7z.html
