No audio device detected

Hello,
im using a HP laptop and im facing audio issues .
there is no audio output .
only output is blueetooth handsfree audio . Whereas i've not connected any .
this is when the bluetooth of my laptops on .
And when ever i turn it off it says no audio device detected .
Windows Vista
Service Pack 2
32 bit


Please help me .

My suggetion: Totally uninstall it, reboot the machine and install it again. You can uninstall it from



Control panel > Device Manager
It should be under Sound ...
Right click it & Uninstall

Then restart Vista and it should reinstall the device.

I tried this just now
only the bluetooth handsfree audio has been reinstalled .
i was using a conextant audio device and it isnt appearing anywhere .
even under device manager under sound Onlyy two things appearing were bluetooth audio and bluetooth handsfree audio
