Got sound, but breaking up

Hello, I have my laptop hooked up to tv via HDMI. I have the sound coming thru the TV but it's "breaking up". Is it possibly a bad HDMI cable or is there something else I should do? I've played with all the different sound options on my laptop and TV, but it doesn't correct it.

It might be the cable can you test using a different cable?
