Replaced ram

Hello,
Okay I have read the other message boards i removed my ner ram turned on the computer and it was beeping, so i replaced the ram removed my upgraded vidio card witch was installed in a pci slot so the old vidio card is stil there and useable and turned on the computer now it goes to the first boot screen that says compaq and gives the option for F1 setup F10 restore options then it goes to a black screen with just a single blinking white line. what is your sugestion?

i think there's a problem with your hardisk. It can't boot your O.S system. May be your windows had crashed!
