How can I download files from my pc to laptop

Hello, I have a PC - (Windows XP) and a laptop (Windows XP). My PC is connected to the internet through a my laptop connected to internrt by router. How can I download files from my pc to laptop.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.7
