Blue screen windows xp

i am new at this how can a run dos in a window xp in order to run chkdsk /f as i get a blue screen when i boot up?

You have to boot up into DOS, not windows. Read about making a DOS disk, or running DOS from USB, and booting from USB. If I hve already confused you, then it is above your skillset, and you should toss that machine into the river and buy something newer!
