Acer Extenza 5230e2177 Battery won't charge

Greetings,

I have an Acer Extenza 5230e2177 My battery won't charge due to a loose connection at the connector board. I would like to replace the board but don't know what board it is. I've seen motherboards for sale online but i don't see the connector for the piwer cord on it. If someone could give me info on that, I would appreciate it. If I wiggle the power cord the light will come on but intermittently. I have replaced the power cord as well.

Perhaps all you need is a "power jack cable harness". Here is one listed on Ebay.

Just to confirm. If you take the battery out and leave it just AC the laptop doesn't stay on?
